Yard

William has been developing his yard , near Ewehurst Surrey, for the past 20 years  and it now has superb facilities for the horse and rider.

Up to 26 horses can be stabled in large comfortable boxes in the main yard.  A key part of the Funnell philosophy for bringing on horses is to let them develop naturally and to this end there are some 20 acres of paddocks for turnout. Where possible the young horses live out to promote natural bone and muscle growth in their younger years.

Each horse is exercised or ridden on a daily basis and in addition to William there are two full time riders who help with training and exercise. There is a large 60 x 40 composite arena which ensures that even in Winter horses can be exercised safely.

In addition there is a grass loose schooling and lunging arena and the latest in automated horse walkers from Claydon

The yard is expertly managed and run by four full time grooms ensuring that the horses get absolutely the best attention and care.
